Itty Bitty Elephant

My dearest friend, Chrissy, bought me the greatest Christmas gift... the Softies Kit! I love it!

I dug right in and picked a pattern for a super cute little elephant... he fits in the palm of my hand!

It took a bit of work... I am normally not one for reading patterns to a T, so I had to take a few pieces apart and try again here and there, but I was happy with how he turned out...!

He's cuter in person, but he's still pretty darn cute in the pictures!!!

It only took 6 years...

... and I still need to get it quilted.

This is the top for our bed quilt... FINALLY I have made a top for our bed.

And... my New Year's Resolution is to "complete" a project each month...

... so this is my January project -- YAY!

("Complete" means as complete as I can get it... this quilt will need to be quilted and it is way too big for me to do that... it fits a King Sized Bed!!!)
